Car Inspections

The Garage on Chapel Hill Road is an official North Carolina automobile inspection station. Ibrahim is certified to perform checks and tests on your car to see if it meets Alamance County and North Carolina standards.

For car inspections, we have a list of tests to run and equipment to check on your vehicle. Among other things, we’ll check your signals, lights, breaks, tires, and windshield wipers. We’ll also see if any warning lights are on in your dashboard. If they are, we’ll diagnose the problem.

Most of the time, if your car doesn’t pass inspection, the problem is something we can repair for you on the spot.

In North Carolina, you no longer get a sticker for your windshield. Instead, when your car passes inspection, information is automatically forwarded to the DMV, and the information is recorded on with your car registration record. You will not be able to renew your registration until your car successfully passes inspection.

The inspection process is quick, and helps to ensure that your car is safe for you and for the other vehicles on the road.
